International Exchange: Orientation Week for Exchange Students
The Global Education Center held an "Orientation Week" in September for exchange students who arrived in Japan for the fall semester. Despite the challenges posed by typhoons and record-breaking heat, the international exchange volunteer group "VOICE" played a crucial role in supporting the students. They acted as interpreters during course registration and residency procedures in Japan and organized various international exchange events. These included a "Campus Tour" of the Nagoya and Toyota campuses, a "Nagoya Tour" where students visited Nagoya Castle and Osu, a "Mystery Tour" on campus, and a "Japanese Culture Introduction" to help students understand Japanese culture and values. These activities allowed the newly arrived exchange students to make friends and smoothly transition into their university life at Chukyo University.
