The Global Education Center Lounge is getting a makeover!
The Global Education Center (GEC) Lounge, which has long served as a relaxation space for many international students and as a hub for international exchange events, will be expanded and renovated. The new lounge will include areas for student support and learning, and is scheduled to reopen in March 2026.
With this expansion, we expect the GEC Lounge to become an even more welcoming space for a greater number of international students, as well as a comfortable place for students studying foreign languages to gather. We also anticipate that the activities of the International Exchange Student Organization VOICE will flourish, further promoting international exchange at our university.
