Announcement of the launch of "Global Talk Hour"
Chukyo University Global Education Center (GEC) has launched "Global Talk Hour," a unique and enriching paid volunteer opportunity. This program pairs our exchange students with Chukyo University students who are eager to enhance their language skills and foster deeper relationships. Through engaging conversation in the exchange students' native languages, participants can expect to broaden their cultural horizons and develop lifelong friendships.
On May 15, the first Global Talk Hour meeting was held with 54 participants, including exchange students and Chukyo University students. Although they looked nervous at the meeting ceremony, they got relaxed through self-introductions and exchanging contacts, and are now excited about the coming five-week program.
