Event Report: Welcome Party 04/10
A Warm Welcome: Connecting Our Campus Community Through Culture and Fun
On April 10, the Global Experience Center (GEC) held a Welcome Party at the Galleria to celebrate the arrival of our new international students. A total of 212 students - 161 Chukyo University students and 51 exchange students -came together for a gathering buzzing with excitement and meaningful cultural exchange.
The event was planned and operated by our international student organization, VOICE. Through fun, interactive activities such as Bingo and a high-energy rock-paper-scissors tournament, students were able to break the ice and introduce themselves with ease. Our Galleria, a bright and open five-story atrium, was filled with laughter and lively conversation, creating a truly welcoming environment.
One exchange student commented, "It was a truly valuable opportunity to connect directly with so many Chukyo University students." We are delighted to see such strong bonds forming and remain committed to supporting our exchange students as they broaden their horizons and make the most of their time here.
