1. Why did you decide to come study in Japan and choose Chukyo University?
The pictures of Chukyo University looked beautiful and I wanted to experience the city. The program also provided activities outside of class so the students could get involved in the area, for example, volunteer work, day trips, parties, and opportunities to meet new people.
2. How do you think you have matured through your studies at Chukyo? Please share your experiences, events, or feelings while studying at Chukyo University.
Chukyo has made my exchange experience amazing. I’ve met some of my best friends here and I feel lucky to be a part of this program. This program showed me another culture that I wouldn’t have had the chance to experience otherwise. The people I’ve met here have felt like a family to me and I will never forget about them. These memories will stay with me forever.
3. How do you hope to make use of this experience in the future?
This was my first time traveling on my own. I've discovered how to be comfortable in a new environment. I’ve learned how to adjust to something entirely new. Now, I want to travel to other countries.
4. Finally, please give a message to juniors who are considering studying at Chukyo University in the future.
Chukyo has provided me and other students with opportunities to experience studying abroad to the fullest. Not only is the school beautiful, but the study abroad staff and students are amazing. Everyone is so helpful to get you where you need to be and they’ve all helped me grow during this time. Although there are tough times when you leave your home, Chukyo has made this transition easy.
