"VOICE" and Exchange Students Sell Sweets from the World at Chukyo University Festival
As part of international exchange activities with the local community, the international exchange volunteer group "VOICE" and exchange students set up a "World Sweets" booth at the 71st Chukyo University Festival, held from November 2nd to 4th. The booth offered sweets from various countries, including the United States, Korea, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, allowing visitors to fill their bags with treats. The vibrant packaging, distinct from typical Japanese sweets, attracted many visitors.
Exchange students actively participated in preparing for the event, creating bilingual (Japanese and English) menus and displays. On the day of the festival, they excelled in attracting customers, engaging in conversations, and hosting a world landmark guessing quiz, making the event a great success.
