Event Report: Farewell Party Held for Spring 2026 Exchange Students 07/24
Celebrating the wonderful achievements and cherished memories of 50 exchange students.
On Friday, July 24, a warm farewell party took place at the Global Experience Center (GEC) lounge on the Nagoya Campus to say goodbye to 50 exchange students completing their study abroad program for the spring semester at Chukyo University.
During the event, members of "VOICE," our international exchange student organization, hosted a fun "Memory Sugoroku" board game. Responding to prompts like "What is your favorite Japanese word?", "What was your biggest challenge in Japan?", and "What was your favorite event?", the students happily shared their favorite memories and learning experiences with one another.
Staff from the Global Experience Center also shared heartfelt farewell remarks: "We hope you will always consider Chukyo University as your second home and come visit us whenever you return to Japan!"
Toward the end of the event, everyone gathered to watch a special memory video thoughtfully prepared by VOICE. Afterward, each returning exchange student received a photo collage filled with memories and a personalized message card. Some students were deeply moved to tears as they read the heartfelt messages.
