1. Why did you decide to come study in Japan and choose Chukyo University?
Because I have been studying Japanese for a long time, I want to challenge myself. Chukyo University offers a department that is very similar to my major at my home university.
2. How do you think you have matured through your studies at Chukyo? Please share your experiences, events, or feelings while studying at Chukyo University.
I am studying in a department related to my major and learning coding in class. I sometimes have difficulties with homework and exams, and I try to ask my teachers about these problems in Japanese. I also join Global Talk Hour with Japanese people, and we usually talk in Japanese. I’m learning how to do interviews through them. Global Talk Hour is kind of a language exchange - they help me with Japanese, and I help them with Chinese.
3. How do you hope to make use of this experience in the future?
I’m thinking about getting a job or going to grad school in Japan.
4. Finally, please give a message to juniors who are considering studying at Chukyo University in the future.
If you’re a hard-working student, your teachers will help you a lot. My teachers always help me - not only with homework, but also with job advice and even daily things. So I try to help others the same way my teachers help me.
