1. Why did you decide to come study in Japan and choose Chukyo University?
I and my friends back home love japanese media and chukyo provided the opportunity to both be immersed in the japanese lifestyle while still providing time for me to explore the country.
2. How do you think you have matured through your studies at Chukyo? Please share your experiences, events, or feelings while studying at Chukyo University.
I have been pushed out of my comfort zone in ways I couldn't even imagine. From social gatherings with people of all different backgrounds, to classes that have broaded my worldview, and food from all over the world (still not a fan of sashimi), these experiences have changed me and will stick with me for years to come.
3. How do you hope to make use of this experience in the future?
As I go forward in life, I believe my experience at chukyo will be a great asset. Having left the bubble of the US, I feel I can add a different perspective to many different debates that are occuring. Also it doesnt hurt to and japanese influences into the video games I plan to make.
4. Finally, please give a message to juniors who are considering studying at Chukyo University in the future.
If you are considering Chukyo, I think you're making a great choice. You only have so much time on this earth and I for one have enjoyed my time here.
