1. Why did you decide to come study in Japan and choose Chukyo University?
I was very fascinated with the sports culture of Japan, specifically the baseball culture. I also was really wanting to learn the language and I felt that this was my best opportunity to learn.
2. How do you think you have matured through your studies at Chukyo? Please share your experiences, events, or feelings while studying at Chukyo University.
My time in Japan has turned me into more of an outgoing person. I participated in tons of activities and events hosted by the school and I have made tons of friends along the way. This has changed my introverted personality in to more of an outgoing one.
3. How do you hope to make use of this experience in the future?
Being here has taught me more than just the language but how to adapt to other cultures and environments. I can use these to help me obtain jobs that I would not have been qualified for before my time here.
4. Finally, please give a message to juniors who are considering studying at Chukyo University in the future.
If you are thinking about going on an exchange my best advice for you is to just go for it! This has been an amazing experience for me and I would encourage others to go so they can have just as much fun as I have!
