Event Report: TOYOTA Red Cruisers Baseball Tour 6/1
CSEP students participated in TOYOTA Baseball Team Game-Watching Tour
On June 1st, a game-watching tour was held at the invitation of the Toyota Motor Corporation Baseball Team, known as the Red Cruisers. Eleven participants, including exchange students and members of the international exchange volunteer group VOICE, joined the tour.
During the event, students had the opportunity for cross-cultural exchange while watching an exciting game between the Toyota Motor Corporation Baseball Team and the Toshiba Baseball Team. In addition to the game, participants enjoyed a variety of cultural experiences, including a traditional Japanese “Taiko” drumming session supported by the team Mentai-ko, a lecture on the history of Toyota Motor Corporation, and a weaving workshop. These activities allowed students to learn about Japanese culture and gain a deeper understanding of Toyota's origins as a global company. After the game, students had the chance to play catch on the field and take commemorative photos with the players.
During a team meeting held after the game, participant Isaac Romano expressed his gratitude, stating that the tour was a valuable opportunity not only to enjoy baseball but also to learn about the roots of the company.
