Event Report: International Fair 10/9/24 and 10/11/24
Students Introduce Their Home Countries at the International Fair
The "International Fair," where exchange students take the lead in introducing their home countries, was held over two days on Wednesday, October 9th, and Friday, October 11th, at the Global Education Center. This was the first time such an event was held, and it attracted a turnout that exceeded expectations. Exchange students from Ireland, the United States, Italy, Austria, Korea, Taiwan, France, and Hong Kong diligently prepared for the event by creating posters and other materials. They each devised unique ways to showcase their home countries' cultures, languages, tourist attractions, daily life, and culinary delights.
The booths, brimming with national pride, attracted Chukyo University students interested in international exchange and foreign cultures and those considering studying abroad in the near future. These students enjoyed engaging with the exchange students at the booths. Additionally, the preparation period for this event allowed the exchange students to strengthen their bonds by working together.
