Exchange Students Set Up a "World Sweets Grab" Booth at Chukyo University Festival
The "72nd Chukyo University Festival" was held from November 2nd (Saturday) to November 4th (Monday). The international exchange volunteer group "VOICE," in collaboration with exchange students, set up a "World Sweets Grab" booth as part of their initiative to promote international exchange with the local community.
The booth was bustling with visitors eager to fill their bags with sweets from various countries, including Italy, South Korea, Germany, Turkey, and Belgium. Exchange students were seen replenishing the candy for young visitors and engaging in conversations with attendees from outside the university and the local community, using both Japanese and English. It was evident that they were enjoying the natural opportunities for interaction that arose in the open atmosphere of the university festival.
